- Clay masks usually have a thicker consistency and work well for those with an oily complexion. They’re best suited for all skin types except sensitive ones because they can be harsh on the skin.
- Fruit-based masks are great for all types of complexions as well as sensitive ones—they’re often made from natural ingredients like papaya or lemon juice that nourish your skin while removing dirt from it!
Step 7: Apply a toner and moisturiser.
The final step of your facial is to apply a toner. This will remove any remaining traces of cleanser, as well as excess oil and bacteria that may have accumulated during the treatment. It’s also beneficial for your skin, as it helps to restore moisture levels, balance PH levels and tighten pores.
Toner is applied with a cotton ball (don’t rub too hard!) and should be applied all over the face in small circular motions until completely absorbed by the skin.
